If you've worked in education long enough, you've probably sat through a professional development session wondering who comes up with some of these ideas.
Don't get me wrong, student engagement is important. But sometimes it feels like we're trying so hard to make learning entertaining that we forget about the actual learning part.
In this episode of Bear With Me, Commander Kuma finds himself sitting through another PD session where administrators have a brilliant new idea: students should do a trending dance every ten minutes and rate their lessons using QR codes.
Naturally, Kuma has a few thoughts.
I've always enjoyed using humor to talk about the everyday experiences educators deal with. Sometimes you just have to laugh at the things we encounter in this profession.
And to be fair, we've all sat through at least one meeting that probably could've been an email.
Hope you enjoy this one!
