Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Economics through 1-on-1 sessions, group classes, or asynchronous courses

  • Design and deliver engaging Economics lessons tailored to each student’s level and academic or professional goals

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with students, guardians, or fellow team members

  • Manage your own teaching schedule and keep your availability up to date

  • Adhere to New To Education’s content and conduct guidelines, maintaining professionalism and neutrality

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience in Economics

  • Strong ability to explain complex economic concepts in a clear and relatable way

  • Proficiency in topics such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, economic theory, and applied economics

  • Reliable internet connection and familiarity with digital teaching tools

  • Self-motivated, organized, and committed to student success

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Economics or related field

  • Experience teaching Economics at the high school or college level

  • Familiarity with platforms like Zoom, Google Workspace, Canva, or Learning Management Systems (LMS)

  • Ability to integrate real-world case studies and data into lessons

Compensation:

Tutors receive 70% of the booking fee and can set their own rates based on qualifications and services offered. Bonuses and recognition are awarded for exceptional performance and positive student feedback.
