Overview: New To Education is seeking knowledgeable and passionate Online Science Tutors to join our global platform. Tutors should be dedicated to student-centered instruction and capable of aligning their lessons to individual learning goals across subjects such as biology, chemistry, physics, environmental science, and general science. Ideal candidates will be able to simplify scientific concepts, encourage inquiry-based learning, and adapt to the academic needs of learners at various levels..
Key Responsibilities:
Teach science through 1-on-1 lessons, small group sessions, or asynchronous (pre-recorded) courses
Develop and deliver engaging lessons tailored to each student’s grade level and academic goals
Communicate professionally with students, guardians, or team members about progress and expectations
Manage your own teaching schedule and keep availability updated
Maintain high standards of scientific accuracy, professionalism, and inclusivity in content delivery
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of teaching, tutoring, or lab instruction experience (in-person or online)
Ability to design student-centered and goal-driven science lessons
Proficiency in one or more core science subjects (biology, chemistry, physics, or general science)
Reliable internet access and comfort using digital teaching platforms
Organized, self-motivated, and able to communicate clearly and effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a science field, science education, or related discipline
Experience preparing students for standardized exams (e.g., SAT Subject Tests, AP, IB, IGCSE)
Familiarity with tools like Zoom, Google Workspace, PhET Simulations, or LMS platforms
Experience working with learners of varying educational backgrounds and learning styles
Compensation:
Tutors receive 70% of the booking fee and can set their own rates based on qualifications, expertise, and services provided. Opportunities for bonuses and enhanced visibility are available based on student feedback and performance.

Tutors may apply to specialize in specific disciplines such as life sciences, physical sciences, environmental science, or lab-based instruction
