Overview: New To Education is seeking experienced and passionate Online Math Tutors to join our global platform. Tutors should be committed to student-centered instruction and capable of tailoring lessons to individual learning goals across a variety of math topics including foundational numeracy, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and exam preparation. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts for learners of all levels and ages..
Key Responsibilities:
Teach math through 1-on-1 lessons, small group classes, or asynchronous (pre-recorded) courses
Develop and deliver engaging, personalized math lessons based on each student’s academic needs and learning pace
Communicate professionally with students, guardians, or team members regarding progress and goals
Manage your own teaching schedule and keep availability up to date
Uphold our platform’s standards for professionalism, clarity, and quality of instruction
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience (in-person or online)
Strong ability to design interactive, goal-oriented math lessons across various topics
Proficiency in core mathematical concepts appropriate to your grade-level expertise
Reliable internet connection and comfort with digital teaching tools
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and responsive to communication
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, or a related field
Experience working with children, teens, or adult learners
Familiarity with international math standards (e.g., Common Core, IGCSE, SAT, IB)
Comfort using tools like Zoom, Google Workspace, Desmos, GeoGebra, or LMS platforms
Experience working with students who have learning differences or who need remediation support
Compensation:
Tutors receive 70% of the booking fee and have the flexibility to set their own rates based on their experience, education, and services offered. High-performing tutors may be eligible for bonuses, featured profile placement, or additional teaching opportunities.
Additional Notes:
Tutors may apply to specialize in test prep, elementary math, advanced topics, or remedial instruction
