With 22 years of hands-on experience as an educator in both primary and high school settings, I have taught a plethora of subjects in primary school (grades 5-6) and specialized in English, Mathematics, Technology, Natural Science, Life Orientation, and Creative Arts in the senior phase (grades 7-9). My communication skills are excellent, both in writing and orally. Additionally, I possess strong management abilities and have served as the coordinator for the shortlisting and interview process for recruitment of incumbents of various levels. I was the discipline committee coordinator and I developed the school’s code of conduct, along with various other policies and procedures. Professional development coordinator and facilitator for several professional development programs. IQMS and Examinations coordinator, and I was afforded the opportunity to set examination papers for every subject for each grade that I served as the Grade Head in. I secured R1.5 million to convert my no-fee school into a smart school. We were able to purchase all the necessary audio/visual equipment to ensure teaching and learning moved towards embracing the technological era. As a published author, I assisted aspiring writers in achieving their dreams of authorship through ghostwriting, copywriting and editing.
